The Roman Trail (Römerweg) is a unique opportunity to experience the city’s Roman history. The stops along the path have since become a network within the city which is constantly being extended. The basic idea behind the Ovilava Roman Trail is to make it possible to experience Roman Wels by means of a path. The aim is for visitors to experience history in the form of an unobtrusive presentation while shopping or going for a walk. Each of the 28 stops is intended to help create an awareness of Roman Wels and the past. The Römerweg Ovilava Association wishes you lots of fun and excitement discovering, visiting and exploring the Roman Trail!
