I travel alone:

Solo travelers are entitled to an allowance of €10.00 per person per night if the following requirements are met:

• Young people from 14 to 18 years, as well as students with a student ID
• Minimum stay of 2 nights or maximum stay of 5 nights
• Exclusively for Wels accommodation providers that can be booked through the Wels tourism region
• The room booking does not necessarily have to be made via the system of the Wels tourist region (also direct bookings,..)

And that's how it works:

• Check if requirements are met
• Hotel booking via the tourism region of Wels or directly at the hotel
• Filling out the application form:

• Print out the resulting voucher and take it to the hotel
• Present the voucher upon check-in
• Settlement of the bill minus the subsidy

We travel in a group:

Young people traveling in a group with an accompanying person and one full payer are entitled to an overnight allowance of € 10.00 including 10% VAT per person and night if the offer, booking and issue of the voucher is made via the Wels tourist region.

The requirements for tour groups are as follows:

• Pupil or after-school care groups, student groups and, if necessary, any kindergarten, scout and youth groups (or similar groups)
• Minimum stay of 2 nights or maximum stay of 5 nights
• Booking exclusively through the tourism region of Wels

And that's how it works:

• Check if requirements are met
• Call us on 0043 7242 67722 22, or send us an e-mail to info@wels.at with all important travel data (date, desired number of rooms and room occupancy, age of the participants,...)
• We request offers from the various companies and create an offer for you
• You decide which hotel you want to book
• After booking you will receive a booking confirmation minus the subsidy amount and a voucher for your stay
• Present the voucher upon check-in
• Settlement of the bill minus the subsidy
