The Wels Business Tourism Office is an association of the most important event establishments and hotels in the city. The organisational work is overseen by a team of experienced professionals. They know the city like the back of their hand and understand how international business tourism ticks. Their motto is: Advice, booking and support for your event in Wels. While the event planner focuses on the organisation and content of the event, all accompanying aspects - from blocks of hotel rooms or the event venue to the creating an appropriate supporting programme - are compiled by the Wels Business Tourism Office.

  •  Selection and proposals for the right location 
  • Find out which locations Wels can offer your event at the press of a button. This avoids clashes of dates and lets you use all available capacities (hotels, car parks ...).
  • Official conference and trade fair calendar: date coordination to avoid clashes
  • One offer for the whole city: we compile the offers of the required service providers and summarise them in a clear and transparent way. Detailed arrangements, such as the location or catering, are then made directly with the major service providers. The Wels Business Tourism Office supports the organiser throughout the entire process.
  • Arranging blocks of hotel rooms: we book hotel rooms free of charge via a booking link or booking form.
  • Conference application documents (bid book) - we help during the application phase for a conference and create a bid book in cooperation with the organiser.
  • Invitation for decision-makers to come to Wels for site inspections - we coordinate the locations and hotels in question and present our establishments and the city
  • Green Meeting & Event certification: The Wels Business Tourism Office is a certification body and supports organisers in the implementation of eco-label guidelines.
  • Information and advertising material for the participants
  • Supporting programmes for events and companions
