Baroque Fish Pond

One of the most peculiar architectural crea-tions of the monastery is the large indoor “fish pond” east of the outer portal of the monas-tery. It continues in the traditional building sty-le of the early 17th century, in which a kind of arcade-lined basin was created to store the food fish needed in the abbey.
