Marienwarte – Marien-observatory

A walk on the “Reinberg” – the hill in the south of Wels – leads in serpentines to the lookout tower Marienwarte, the observation tower in the neighboring community Thalheim. From the 23-meter high tower you cannot only look down onto Wels, when the weather is good and the sight is clear you can see the Alps as well as the area in front of it, the pre-alps.
