Haas Courtyard - Stadtplatz No. 34

Large amounts of the old town buildings of Wels have quite remarkable arcades and courtyards.

A very pretty arcade courtyard – a successful symbiosis of tradition and modernity – can be seen through the entrance of the shop-window-passage or the Schmidtgasse. Further arcades can be found in the houses Schmidtgasse 25 (Wiener Fererhofer), Stadtplatz 18 (Trachten Feichtinger), Stadtplatz 52 (local "Psst") as well as Stadtplatz 62 (Kremsmünstererhof). Particularly worth mentioning is the Arkadenhof on Stadtplatz 55, where in the summer the "Arkadenhof concerts" take place!
