Doll and Teddy Bear Museum
Wels, Oberösterreich, Österreich
- All weather
Monika Parzer has been a loving doll mother since her childhood. Her collection consists of contemporary dolls.
Many children modeled for the dolls in her museum. They were children from the street, kindergartens, schools and playgrounds, which were faithfully reproduced in their gestures, facial expressions and clothing – true to the original. Just art, taken directly from life.
Over the years, a Steiff-bear collection of about 400 pieces joined the more than 600 dolls. There is also a sales shop for dolls, bears, dollhouses, doll’s furniture, doll’s prams and much more.
The “Puppenträume- & Bärenmuseum” (Dollsdreams & Bear Museum) opened in November 1996.
